Notting Hill

Notting Hill is a German-owned, Tirolian-bred Haflinger stallion that is recognized world-wide as one of the top stallions in the world. He stands at the famous Haflingerhof Karlsbad in Germany ( http://www.haflingerhof-karlsbad.de ). He was bred by Peter Eiter of Pitztal, Austria; the son of “Nabucco”, out of the Elite Mare “Riva”, who is a daughter of the excellent broodmare producer, “Andrit”. Notting Hill is the full brother to Rivella TOF, who is the highest scoring mare in the history of American Haflinger Registry breed inspections, and who has been the National Grand Champion Mare in the United States an unprecedented three times.

Notting Hill has had an illustrious competitive career, beginning with a second place finish in the two year old stallion class at the 2000 World Show in Ebbs, Austria. He was the Reserve Champion Stallion of the 2001 Tirolian Stallion Inspection at age three. He next was the Reserve Champion of the Austrian Stallion Testing at Stadl Paura, Austria in 2002. He has successfully shown in Class “A” dressage competitions in Germany. He then went on to a Reserve Championship in the 6-8 year old Stallion Class at the 2005 World Show. Most recently he was named the Reserve Champion of the Ebbs 60th Anniversary Stallion Show in September 2007.

This spectacular stallion stamps his foals with his beautiful head, neck and hip angle, as well as a stellar disposition so typical of the Nabucco family. These young horses are now dominating the breeders show results across Germany. Tudor Oaks Farm is privileged to be the agent for a limited amount of frozen semen here in the United States and abroad.
